Materials:
1 Uncut heirloom linen tablecloth, handwoven in 1900
Hand draped dress secured with cotton thread hand tacks, and finished with adjustable silk micro straps. The tablecloth is completely preserved in the dress and was not cut once during the entire making process, extending its life and transforming the textile’s application.
Constrictor Jacket
Linen jacket constructed from heirloom tablecloth hand-woven in 1900. Features exposed darts, a fitted high neck, adjustable back strap, and a heavy two-way antique brass zipper. Faced and bound with 100% cotton shirting. Paired with layered micro shorts in wool and silk chiffon.
